THE BEACHES

The beaches on Elba are really many and all different from each other: long beaches of golden sand, tiny coves of pebbles, beaches of black sand, others of very white pebbles, as well as cliffs of smooth granite.

Beaches that combined with extraordinary views and a crystal clear sea have nothing to envy to the most renowned Caribbean landscapes.
The seabed in most of the beaches slopes down quickly, except in the sandy ones of Biodola, Marina di Campo, Lacona, Procchio and Fetovaia, where you still touch for about 30-40 meters from the shoreline.

On the island of Elba all the beaches are free or have a good part of the beach.

In the major beaches there are areas served by equipped bathing establishments, where in addition to renting cabins, deck chairs and umbrellas, it is possible to practice many of the most popular water sports.

There are also Blue Points on some beaches where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds to use on the free beach.
